VAMPIR THERAPY
Vampire therapy is a type of PRP treatment that uses the blood’s own platelets to stimulate a healing response. During the treatment, your aesthetician takes some of your blood, as in a blood test, then places that blood in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Apply a numbing cream to the skin and leave until the skin is completely numb. The blood is collected and then centrifuged in a centrifuge machine for about 8-10 minutes until the plasma, which is yellow in color, separates from the rest of the blood.
The plasma is then injected all over the face using an insulin syringe , which has a short, thin needle. The procedure takes about 30 minutes.
Vampire therapy, or PRP treatment, can have many benefits, including:
- Improved skin appearance: vampire therapy can help improve skin appearance, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin texture and firmness, and increase skin brightness.
- Stimulate collagen production: vampire therapy can stimulate collagen and elastin production, which can help increase skin firmness and elasticity.
- Skin rejuvenation: vampire therapy can help improve skin tone and appearance, which can lead to a younger, healthier appearance.
- Personalised treatment: vampire therapy can be customised to the patient's needs and preferences so that it can be tailored to treat specific skin problems.
- Minimally invasive treatment: vampire therapy is minimally invasive and does not require a long recovery period, which means patients can return to their normal activities in a short time.
Vampire therapy, also known as PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment, is a beautifying procedure that involves using the patient’s own blood to improve the appearance of the skin and stimulate collagen production.
The procedure begins by taking a small amount of blood from the patient, which is centrifuged to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood components. Platelets are then reinjected into the area to be treated, usually the face, neck or hands, using a small syringe and a special injection technique.
Platelets contain growth factors and proteins that help repair and regenerate tissue by stimulating collagen and elastin production. This can lead to improved skin appearance, reduced wrinkles and fine lines, and increased skin firmness and radiance.
Vampire therapy can be used to treat a variety of skin problems such as acne, scars, enlarged pores, pigmentation spots and post-surgical scars. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes and improve skin texture and brightness.
